Currently based in Berkhamsted in the UK, Nicola has always been inspired by fashion and the visual aesthetic. Her career is influenced by style and the creative arts. With wide ranging experience, from managing design teams, presenting seasonal fabric ranges, colour forecasting, and trend prediction to building the supply base for a state of the art garment factory and pioneering, home and fashion, off-shore sourcing. Her progressive, senior positioned, career spans three continents (and three decades!), working with some of the largest brands in the world. Nicola consistently visits major shows and exhibitions, such as Premier Vision, Pitti Immagine Filati, GDS, Ambiente, London Fashion Week, Pure London, Lineapelle, Micam, Texworld, Intertextile and Riva Schuh. Nicola’s work relocated her to Asia in 1998, working and living in Sri Lanka, The Philippines and Hong Kong. During this time, she travelled around the globe to many countries and cities, including, India, China, Laos, Myanmar, Indonesia, Cambodia, Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Korea, Singapore, Bangladesh, Thailand, Australia, The US (Los Angeles, New York) France (Paris), Italy (Florence, Milan) and of course London. This is where she enriched her love of world culture and its influence on macro and micro trends in fashion and interiors. Nicola has one son, currently studying classical ballet and dance at The John Cranko Ballet Schule in Stuttgart. He is a constant source of inspiration. Working with him has introduced her to the world of performance. This interest in the dramatic arts has led to working with photographers, MUAs and hairstylists on studio and location photoshoots across England, N Ireland and New York. Nicola has extensive experience, working with teams, building storyboards, developing a vision and delivering that concept into a commercial reality influencing senior stakeholders. She has a unique, encyclopaedic knowledge of fashion, a talent for spotting emerging trends, a passion for interiors and an ability to get the most out of everyone she collaborates with.
